Papers must be submitted in files compatible with open document format, written in Arial 12 type, single space, 8½” x 11” (21, 59 cm x 27, 94 cm) format, in no more than 10 pages and 2.5 cm margins.
All papers should begin with the title in capital letters, the author and co-authors (full-names for certificates) with their respective e-mail addresses, institution, and country (Please specify if you hold an academic/administrative position: Head of Department, Dean, Vice Rector, Senior Lecturer etc. and if you hold a Master or PhD Degree)
Following this comes the abstract, maximum 250 words including key words, and then the full text of the paper, consisting of: an Introduction setting out clearly the objectives of the paper; the body of the text with headings and subheadings; the conclusions, and lastly bibliography and references arranged alphabetically by surname of the principal author and then indicating the year of publication. References should be numbered given in the body of the paper, and in parentheses, the author surname, separated by a comma and year of publication, marking the page if this is a quote and if more than three authors, only the first author’s surname et. al.
Papers may be written in Spanish, English or Portuguese. Abstracts and key words should be in the paper same language, but in case of Spanish and Portuguese, there must be included the English translation.
Abstracts may be sent through our website or e-mail address, and will be received until November 15th, 2009. Within 15 days upon receipt the Scientific Commission will review the abstracts and send notice to authors.
Accepted papers must be sent in full before November 30th, 2009, so as to be included in a CD with the official documents of the event (ISBN).
